Wether a couple or a family, the 42 Ocean Alexander Sport Sedan will get the family to its destination with speed and comfort. Introduced in 1994 as a replacement for the company’s earlier 42 Sedan, the 420 Sport Sedan is equipped with a large cockpit, a pair of sliding glass doors that open to the single-level salon where an L-shaped settee is to port and a raised galley forward, opposite the lower helm. Two state- rooms and a single head are forward. Note the step-down storage room (with an engineroom access door) behind the head compartment. One of the more attractive features of the 420 Sport Sedan—or any Ocean Alexander yacht for that matter—is the handcrafted interior teak joinery. From the cockpit, molded steps at the corners lead to the wide side decks and a transom door opens to the swim platform. With a Zodiac Yachtline tender to finish off the boat, you will be happy when cruising north.
